Refund policy

Returns & Refunds Policy

Last updated: 13 August 2026

At Aphinkan, we want you to shop with confidence. This Returns & Refunds Policy explains how returns, exchanges and refunds are handled for purchases made through Aphinkan.store.

Nothing in this policy is intended to exclude, restrict or modify any rights or remedies that cannot lawfully be excluded under the Australian Consumer Law (ACL).

1. Australian Consumer Law

Our goods come with guarantees that cannot be excluded under the Australian Consumer Law.

You are entitled to a replacement or refund for a major failure and compensation for any other reasonably foreseeable loss or damage.

You are also entitled to have the goods repaired or replaced if the goods fail to be of acceptable quality and the failure does not amount to a major failure.

Your rights under the Australian Consumer Law apply independently of, and in addition to, the voluntary return rights offered by Aphinkan under this policy.

2. Change-of-Mind Returns

In addition to your rights under the Australian Consumer Law, Aphinkan offers a 30-day change-of-mind return period.

You have 30 days from the date your order is delivered to request a return.

To qualify for a change-of-mind return:

  • the item must be unused, unworn and in substantially the same condition in which you received it;

  • all original tags, labels and accessories must remain attached or be included;

  • the item must be returned in its original packaging where reasonably possible; and

  • you must provide proof of purchase, such as your order number, order confirmation or receipt.

Aphinkan reserves the right to decline a voluntary change-of-mind return where these conditions are not satisfied.

These conditions do not limit your rights where a product fails to comply with a consumer guarantee under the Australian Consumer Law.

3. Starting a Return

Before returning an item, please contact:

support@Aphinkan.store

Please include:

  • your full name;

  • your order number;

  • the item you wish to return;

  • the reason for the return; and

  • photographs or other relevant information where the product is faulty, damaged, incorrect or materially different from what was ordered.

Our customer support team will review your request and provide the applicable return instructions.

Please do not send a return to an address without first contacting us, as the appropriate return location may vary.

4. Faulty, Damaged, Incorrect or Not as Described Items

Please inspect your order after delivery.

If you believe that an item is faulty, damaged, incorrect, unsafe, materially different from its description, or otherwise fails to meet a consumer guarantee under the Australian Consumer Law, please contact us as soon as reasonably practicable at support@Aphinkan.store.

We may request reasonable information, including photographs, videos or other evidence, to help us assess the issue.

Any assessment process will not be used to improperly restrict your rights under the Australian Consumer Law.

5. Major Failures

Where a product has a major failure under the Australian Consumer Law, you may be entitled to reject the goods and choose between:

  • a refund; or

  • a replacement of the same type and similar value, where reasonably available.

Other remedies may also be available under the Australian Consumer Law, including compensation for reasonably foreseeable loss or damage where applicable.

Nothing in this policy limits those rights.

6. Minor Problems

Where a product fails to meet a consumer guarantee but the failure is not major, Aphinkan may be entitled to provide an appropriate remedy within a reasonable time.

Depending on the circumstances, this may include a repair, replacement or another remedy required by the Australian Consumer Law.

If the problem cannot be remedied within a reasonable time, additional rights may arise under the Australian Consumer Law.

7. Return Shipping

Change-of-Mind Returns

For voluntary change-of-mind returns, the customer is responsible for return shipping costs unless Aphinkan agrees otherwise.

Original shipping charges are generally not refundable for change-of-mind returns, except where required by law.

We recommend using a tracked shipping service when returning an item, as Aphinkan cannot take responsibility for a change-of-mind return that is lost before it reaches the designated return location.

Returns Under the Australian Consumer Law

Where a product is confirmed to have a problem that entitles you to a remedy under the Australian Consumer Law, Aphinkan will comply with its obligations regarding reasonable return, collection or transportation costs.

Where goods cannot reasonably be returned without significant cost because of the nature of the problem, their size, height or method of attachment, any applicable collection obligations will be handled in accordance with the Australian Consumer Law.

8. Exchanges

If you wish to exchange an eligible item because you selected the wrong size, colour or variant, please contact support@Aphinkan.store.

Voluntary exchanges are subject to:

  • the 30-day return period;

  • the condition requirements set out above; and

  • product availability.

Customers may be responsible for shipping costs associated with voluntary exchanges.

Where an exchange is required as a remedy under the Australian Consumer Law, your statutory rights will apply instead.

9. Non-Returnable Items for Change of Mind

For hygiene, safety or other reasonable commercial reasons, certain products may not be eligible for voluntary change-of-mind returns, including:

  • underwear or intimate garments that have been worn, tried on in circumstances affecting hygiene, or had hygiene seals removed;

  • personal care or grooming products that have been opened or used;

  • products specifically identified as final sale before purchase;

  • gift cards; and

  • customised or personalised products.

This exclusion applies only to voluntary change-of-mind returns.

It does not exclude or restrict any remedy you may be entitled to under the Australian Consumer Law for faulty, defective, unsafe, incorrectly described or otherwise non-compliant goods.

10. Sale and Promotional Items

Unless otherwise stated, eligible sale or promotional items may be returned under our change-of-mind policy subject to the conditions in this policy.

Where an item has been expressly identified as Final Sale before purchase, we may decline a voluntary change-of-mind return.

Final-sale conditions do not affect rights and remedies available under the Australian Consumer Law.

11. Refunds

Once we receive and assess an approved return, we will notify you of the outcome.

Where a refund is approved, it will generally be issued to the original payment method.

The time required for the funds to appear in your account may vary depending on your bank, card issuer or payment provider.

Nothing in this section changes any timeframe or remedy required by the Australian Consumer Law.

12. Refund Method

Where you are legally entitled to a monetary refund, Aphinkan will not require you to accept store credit instead of the refund to which you are entitled.

For voluntary returns that do not arise from a legal entitlement, alternative arrangements such as exchanges or store credit may be offered where agreed with you.

13. Proof of Purchase

We may ask for reasonable proof that the product was purchased from Aphinkan.

Acceptable proof may include:

  • an Aphinkan order number;

  • an order confirmation email;

  • a receipt;

  • payment records; or

  • other reasonable evidence demonstrating the purchase.

14. Gifts and Promotional Products

Where a product was supplied as part of a bundle, promotion, gift-with-purchase or similar offer, any voluntary return may require the associated promotional items to be returned where this was clearly disclosed as a condition of the promotion.

If promotional items are not returned, we may adjust a voluntary refund to reflect the terms of the promotion where lawful and reasonable.

This section does not reduce any remedy available under the Australian Consumer Law.

15. Order Cancellations

If you wish to cancel or modify an order, please contact support@Aphinkan.store as soon as possible.

We will attempt to accommodate your request, but we cannot guarantee that an order can be changed or cancelled after it has entered processing or been dispatched.

If the order has already been dispatched, you may need to wait until it is delivered and then request a return in accordance with this policy.

16. Refused and Unclaimed Deliveries

Where an order is refused, unclaimed or returned to sender for reasons unrelated to a failure by Aphinkan or the carrier, we may contact you to arrange redelivery or another appropriate resolution.

Reasonable additional shipping costs may apply where permitted by law.

This does not affect your rights where the delivery issue or return resulted from our failure to comply with applicable law or our contractual obligations.

17. Processing Times

We aim to assess returns promptly after they arrive at the designated return location.

Processing times may vary depending on the circumstances of the return, the product and whether further assessment is reasonably required.

We will communicate with you if additional information is required.

18. Consumer Guarantees Take Priority

The voluntary rights and timeframes described in this policy are additional benefits offered by Aphinkan.

They do not replace the consumer guarantees provided by Australian law.

A stated 30-day return period does not mean that your Australian Consumer Law rights expire after 30 days.

Where the Australian Consumer Law provides you with greater rights than this policy, the Australian Consumer Law will prevail to the extent required by law.
